The Pre-Pack Process
By listening closely to our customers, Pre-Pack's engineers will incorporate their ideas and needs into the layout of a state of the art processing room using a computer-aided-drafting (CAD) program. Pre-Pack will then add the additional equipment before presenting the layout to our customer. After careful evaluation and discussion, Pre-Pack will make changes as needed. On approval of the layout, Pre-Pack will then quote and build the equipment.
Space Limitations
Floor space is always at a premium in today's facilities. It's limitations will often dictate the equipment Pre-Pack may propose. Sometimes the line must turn a corner, or go through a wall. The line may even need to change levels to take full advantage of the customer's floor space.
Customer-Specified Components
Quite often, customers will specify certain motors, gear boxes, motor controls, conveyor belting, or bearings to be used on the equipment Pre-Pack is building for them. They may ask because they stock some items, or because they have had good luck with a certain component. Pre-Pack is always happy to oblige.
Confidentiality
Pre-Pack respects customer confidentiality. Be assured that when working with Pre-Pack, your process and ideas will be kept confidential. Pre-Pack's philosophy has always been "we won't tell others how you are doing things, and don't expect us to tell you how others are doing it". This philosophy has worked quite well for 40 years.
Other Industries
Pre-Pack works with other industries as well. Recently, Pre-Pack was called on to help an ice cream bar manufacturer whose previous system loaded either too few or too many peanuts onto the frozens treats. Pre-Pack was able to solve the "particulate material dispensing system" problem and save this manufacturer thousands of dollars in peanuts while enabling them to deliver a consistent and superior product.
Pre-Pack Machinery designs and builds custom processing equipment,
by the piece or a complete production line.
